Capol GmbH was initially formed as Kaul KG in 1975 and soon became recognised as world leaders in the development and manufacture of confectioners polishes, glazes, anti-sticking and release agents.

Now with agencies throughout the world they are able to apply globally established knowledge and expertise to individual markets.

The extensive range of confectionery coatings are made in a purpose built factory in Elmshorn, 30km North West of Hamburg. The most up to date machinery and techniques available are employed to ensure an exceptionally high and consistent level of quality throughout the entire range.

Having the capacity to store large quantities of raw materials and produce batches from 50kg to 15,000kg at short notice ensures the ability to react quickly to meet customer's requirements.

Capol UK Ltd was established as the UK and Eire agent in 1993 and has been based on the Wirral peninsular ever since.

Over the years we have accumulated a vast knowledge of the confectionery industry and are always willing to help and advise customers with any problems that may arise in their manufacturing processes or in the development of new products.
